Spring Dance Concert

The Spring Dance Concert ’08 will include works
by two guest artists: Olivier Wecxsteen and Laura
Spaziani. Mr. Wecxsteen has a return engagement to
set a pas de deux and four Petipa variations. Laura
Spaziani ’03, sets a piece that will be performed
at the Northeast American College Dance
festival. Other pieces included in the spring
are Professor Leslie Norton’s Swallow Tail
Nonyelum Chizea’s senior dance project
and Priya Sabanayagam, a classical Indian
dancer presenting Bharatanatyam.

Vision of Sound
Saturday, April 5, at 3 pm
Wellin Hall
New York composers and choreographers
collaborate to create a Vision of Sound, as new
music for piano, string trio and computer comes
to life with SUNY Brockport dancers in a multi-
media event. Co-sponsored by Hamilton
College, SUNY Brockport, the University
of Buffalo and the Syracuse Society for New
Music, this special performance presents
work by composers Mark Olivieri, Marc
Mellits, Bernadette Speach, Ping Jin, Cort
Lippe and Hamilton’s own Samuel Pellman.
